Auto Body Repair and Finishing

The Auto Body Repair and Finishing program focuses on the fundamentals of body work, shop practices, and shop safety.

Essential Skills

Skills for Workplace Success, Communication and Math. Activities including field trips, special speakers, and workshops help students apply their knowledge to real-life situations.

Facilities Maintenance/Construction

The program provides classroom instruction, hands-on training, and an understanding of the basic construction principles needed to complete basic building and repair functions.

Intro to Culinary Arts at Honolulu Community College

Covers the theory and principles of bulk cookery, short order cooking, pantry/salad making, sandwich making, baking, catering and customer service.  Students prepare for real-life by working in the HCC cafeteria.

Intro to Culinary Arts at Windward Community College

Students practice job readiness skills and workplace expectations.  May be recommended for the apprenticeship program at KCC, which follows the “earn as you learn” concept of instruction (Depending upon competencies).

Nurse’s Aide

This State of Hawai‘i approved Nurse Assistant program provides classroom and supervised clinical training in the basic fundamentals of safe and knowledgeable care giving.

Office Administration and Technology

Office Administration and Technology offers a flexible 15-week curriculum, with industry-validated competencies. Master foundation competencies, solve problems using business math and acquire advanced computer skills.

Office Skills

Classes in specific computer application, such as Windows and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.  All courses are self-directed, which allow students to progress and proceed at their own pace.

Office Skills Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

The Microsoft Office Exam Preparation Package includes the exam preparation course and the Certification Examination.
